DIRECTIONS TO UNION HIGH SCHOOL

From York: Take Hwy 49 south towards Union. As you drive down 49, sometime after Lockhart begin looking for a road sign on the right that says "Browns Creek Church Road." There are 2 of them; turn RIGHT onto the second road (it makes a loop and this is one of them). You will then take the FIRST LEFT off of this road. Stay on that road and it will come to a "T" intersection and UHS is in front of you.  If you pass this and end up in Union, look for the green signs that tell you how to get there. You'll go through Monarch and come to a stop light at the Community Cash; there is a UHS sign there.

From Rock Hill:  Take SC 323 south through McConnells across SC 97 to SC 49. Turn left on SC 49. Go approx 7 miles until SC 49 merges with SC 9. Turn right on SC 49/9. Cross the Broad River into Union County and Lockhart. Go approx 1/2 mile and turn left on SC 49. Go approx 10 miles to the 2nd traffic light and turn right on Arthur Blvd. Pass Veterans' Park and turn right at the light onto Lakeside Dr. Go approx 2 miles and UHS is on the left.

From Columbia:  Take I-26 west to exit 72. Turn right on SC 121. Go approximately 17 miles to Whitmire. Bear right on SC 72/US 176. Cross the Tyger River into Union County. Go approx 1 mile and turn left on US 176. Go approximately 13 miles to the traffic light. Turn left on US 176/SC 215 (the Duncan By-pass) and go to the 4th traffic light and turn right. Go to the 3rd traffic light and turn left on Lakeside Dr. Go approx 2 miles and UHS is on the left.

From Spartanburg:  Take Highway 176 which will lead you into Union on the Duncan By-Pass.  In Union, you will go pass the Union County Stadium on the left and the Wal-Mart Shopping Center on the right.  Continue on 176 to the next light which will be Rice Avenue.  You will see Bi-Lo and Pizza Hut on the right and a new CVS pharmacy on the left.  Take a left onto Rice Avenue and follow that road until you reach the red light at Lakeside Drive.  Take a left onto Lakeside Drive.  You will see Foster Park on the right.  You will continue on Lakeside Drive until you see the school on the left.
